Kelser & The Travelers Championship
Travelers Championship Sponsorship
June 17-23, 2013
TPC River Highlands
We are proud to announce our involvement in the 2013 Travelers Championship!
Kelser has returned to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell for the 22nd consecutive year as a proud sponsor of the Travelers Championship. With a Skybox on the green of the picturesque 17th hole, Kelser has become a familiar name at the event. Each year, the Kelser Skybox fills with partners, clients, friends, and new acquaintances.
The tournament week, while exciting for all involved, is a great time to reflect on all the good the event does for our community. Since 1952, the tournament has generated more than $29 million for charity. In 2012, the Travelers Championship generated $1.154 million for more than 100 charities throughout the region such as the Connecticut Food Bank, Cancer Support Community of Southern Connecticut, and the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
In addition to hosting the skybox, Kelser provides 24/7 IT support to the Travelers Championship. Providing IT infrastructure and engineering support services is a vital part of the activities of the event. Andrew Tyler, Kelser Senior Technical Consultant said, “Although the week is very busy for us with round the clock support responsibilities, the opportunity to work with the outstanding tournament staff in support of our community is well worth it.” The Nationally televised PGA tour event is Connecticut’s largest sports attraction, and Kelser is always proud to be involved.
