Business Development Coordinator

Job Title: Business Development Coordinator
Location: Glastonbury, CT
Type: Full Time
Reports to: Manager, Marketing

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for connecting with and delivering ideal business leads, and ultimately opportunities, to sales. This includes cold calling and other activities related to lead nurturing, management and development as the candidate manages the sales funnel to ensure both quality and quantity.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule the appropriate number of appointments for sales every week
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams about lead quality
  • Track and manage leads in the CRM
  • Improve quality of contact information in the database.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by management
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop ways to increase lead generation
Requirements
  • Strong communication & phone skills
  • Organized, attention to detail and ability to document activities
  • Basic knowledge of common software applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Information Technology preferred
  • A high degree of passion, dependability and helpfulness
  • The ability to deal with objections, rejections and challenging prospects every day
