Sales Representative

Location: 43 Western Blvd, Glastonbury, CT (remote currently)
Type: Full Time
Reports to: VP, Revenue

The primary responsibility of the Sales Representative is new client acquisition. This will be accomplished by actively prospecting in to net new accounts, identifying opportunities and closing business for both managed IT services and project work.

We’re looking for an individual who is driven to cultivate relationships with clients where we can create solutions and prosper together. The right individual would have the ability to establish relationships that position Kelser as an indispensable advisor in the eyes of each client.

  • Extremely outgoing and truly in your element initiating conversations with potential customers by phone, at networking events, via email and LinkedIn
  • Has a knack for advancing conversations with potential clients
  • Always thinking of new ways to connect and build relationships
  • Comfort zone is to be in constant conversation with clients and potential clients
  • Open to trying new tools and systems
  • Comfortable using video as a primary means of communication
  • Views collaboration with marketing as an essential part of sales
Responsibilities
  • Sell Kelser managed services, products, and solutions
  • Develop new customers through prospecting and relationship building
  • Track and manage contacts and opportunities within CRM
  • Attend customer meetings, seminars, trainings, and webinars as required
  • Represent Kelser at events and interviews, sometimes during non-working hours
  • Contribute thought leadership ideas for Kelser blog, social media and PR
  • Other reasonable duties assigned by management
