Event Recap: 2014 ERRACE

Written by Adam Stahl | July 14, 2014

The Kelser culture abides by six core values: Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence, Integrity, Agility and last but certainly not least, Community. At Kelser, we believe in giving back and paying forward. We could not find a more fitting way to live out this principle than by participating in the everyday fight against cancer.

On the morning of Saturday July 12th, the Kelser Krew team of twelve, adorned in the company’s signature color of orange, gathered to participate in ERRACE, formally known as Everyone Ride/Run Against Cancer Everyday. The enthusiastic team pedaled 25 miles through the winding hills of Avon, Simsbury and Granby Connecticut. Although the ride was a challenging test of stamina and strength, the team successfully finished the race together.

The annual ERRACE event not only raises money for awareness and research, it also intends to inspire the community to live a healthy lifestyle. This year ERRACE established a fundraising goal of $100,000. However, the event surpassed this amount when it reached $113,294. Donations will continue to be accepted until September 17th, 2014 and the beneficiaries of the event are Hartford Hospital’s Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center and the Livestrong Foundation.

Kelser is proud to be a part of such a challenging and important fight. To donate and learn more about ERRACE visit the website at: http://www.errace.org/
