Kelser Supports Connecticut’s Largest Sporting Event - the Travelers Championship

During the week of June 17-23, Kelser Corporation supported the Travelers Championship, Connecticut’s largest sporting event and one of the region’s most popular summer attractions. For the 22nd consecutive year, Kelser returned as a Skybox sponsor on the scenic 17th hole. During the week, the skybox was filled with partners, clients, employees and friends of Kelser.

While the tournament itself is an exciting time for all involved, it also does a tremendous amount of good in the community. Since 1952, it has raised over $30 million for charity, supporting organizations throughout the region such as the Greater Hartford Jaycees, the Connecticut Food Bank, Cancer Support Community of Southern Connecticut, and the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

In addition to hosting the skybox, Kelser provides 24/7 IT support to the Travelers Championship. Providing IT infrastructure and engineering support services is a vital part of the activities of the event. Andrew Tyler, Kelser Senior Technical Consultant said, “Although the week is very busy for us with round the clock support responsibilities, the opportunity to work with the outstanding tournament staff in support of our community is well worth it.”
