Manchester, CT – The results are in! Over $280,000 was raised as a result of tireless efforts, promotion, preparation and man-hours that culminated in the 22nd Annual Evening of Fine Wines at Manchester Community College. The formal event supports the MCC Foundation, enabling students to pursue their educational goals by supporting scholarships, programs (including Culinary Arts) and student life. Barry Kelly, Kelser President & CEO, was the honorary chairman of the event.

"What a great night! We are so happy to take part in such a worthwhile event,” related Barry Kelly, Kelser President & CEO and speaker at the event. “The fact that the goal was realized and surpassed is a testimony to all that were involved. Congratulations."

As the Presenting Sponsor, Kelser supported and contributed to the overall success of the event. In addition to philanthropic sponsorship support, the Kelser Foundation helped drive sponsorships, ticket sales and attendance. The Kelser marketing team launched a cooperative social media campaign with MCC to promote the event, with many friends, clients, and partners of the organization participating on different levels.

“Our partnership with MCC is a collaborative one,” said Lisa Carroll, Kelser Marketing Manager and head of its Foundation. “The staff has been wonderful to work with and their student programs are something we truly believe in and support. The tireless efforts of everyone involved made the event an extraordinary success!”

During the fun-filled evening, guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, wine, beer and cocktail tastings, hors d'oeuvres and dessert selections, live music and dancing, raffles and a few other surprises.
