Hartford, CT – Kelser Corporation, a Connecticut based information technology solutions provider, today announced that they have been named a Top Workplace for 2013 by the Hartford Courant and FOX CT. Of the 660 companies nominated, Kelser was one of 55 companies who received the award.
2013 marks their first time on the list, which is determined solely by employee feedback. There are many ways to measure the quality of a workplace: wages and benefits, employee turnover, physical amenities, policies, and profit-sharing are all factors. To participate, a company must have a minimum of 50 employees in the Hartford, Middlesex, Tolland, Windham and New London counties. Each company asked their employees to complete a 24 question confidential survey. Questions included categories of direction, conditions, execution, managers, pay and benefits.

Kelser Corporation’s workforce has grown by over 18% in 2013, pushing them over the 50 employee mark for the first time since its inception in 1981. With this being the first year of Kelser’s eligibility for the award, making the list is no small feat.
