19 climbers from Kelser Corporation participated in the 2013 Fight For Air Climb in Hartford, CT to raise funds and awareness for the American Lung Association. As part of the Kelser Foundation’s spring charity initiatives, the team of 19 named the Kelser Krew climbed to the top achieving competitive times for all team members.
Music created excitement in the lobby of City Place, Connecticut’s tallest building at 42 stories, as climbers signed in and prepared to climb. Radio personality Dave Fisch from 104.1 FM was the emcee welcoming the climbers as they prepared to ascend 34 stories.
At the award ceremony and after party at Black Bear Saloon in Hartford, the Krew received awards including the Fastest Corporate Team and Top Sponsor. A longtime supporter of the ALA, Kelser participates in several events supporting the group, including their charity golf tournament. The Kelser Charity Challenge, taking place in September, has given 100% of proceeds to the ALA since its inception 17 years ago.
