Event Recap: 2014 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

News | Events | Foundation

18 members of the “Kelser Krew” team participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Bushnell Park in Hartford. Over 1,300 walkers participated in the event, raising over $180,000 for the cause. The walk supports the Alzheimer’s association, who is committed to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease through research, care, support and awareness.

Raindrops fell early in the morning as walkers and volunteers gathered in Bushnell Park in Hartford on Sunday morning. The sky soon cleared and participants were treated to warm temperatures and sunshine. Many walked in support of a loved one who has been affected by the disease. Like most of the participants, many Kelser Krew team members have a personal connection to the cause. The team raised over $3,600 for the cause.
