Kelser Corporation Announces Expansion of East Hartford Headquarters

News

East Hartford, CT – Last Monday, hammers were raised to begin the expansion project of Kelser Corporation’s headquarters in East Hartford, CT. Located at 111 Roberts Street, renovations for the IT solutions company will streamline and improve operations, meeting the needs of the growing company. Founded in 1981 as New Technology Systems, Kelser has continued to grow, expanding several times during the last 32 years.

This recent expansion is primarily attributed to the reorganization that Barry Kelly facilitated when he took over as President in 2010. He restructured the company creating the Kelser Professional Services organization to work alongside the Kelser Supply Chain Management group. The latest expansion will enhance the efficiency and flow of information and processes between the two arms of the company, as well as supplying office and work space to accommodate the growing ranks of Kelser employees. The renovations are much needed during this period of progression and aim to bolster the customer experience. Improved internal operations will mean faster customer response times, augmented services offerings, and will increase Kelser’s already trusted ability to exceed customer demands with an eye on the future.

“The expansion of our facility is directly due to the expansion in our current business, as well as our plans for further growth in the future,” said Kelser President Barry Kelly. “It provides us with the opportunity to continue to provide our clients with the highest quality of service they have come to expect from us. Having grown to exceed our current space is one problem that I’m pleased to have.”

The new facilities will include corporate offices, larger warehouse space, extended configuration areas, a repair center, meeting rooms and a state of the art demo center. Upgraded equipment and facilities will greet the employees of Kelser when they move into their respective areas in the coming weeks. The improved space will bring new offerings to beyond the Kelser workforce as well. Once completed, the demo center and meeting rooms will host the monthly Kelser Seminar Series aimed to provide education to current and new customers alike. The seminars will feature trends in technology, new products and services, manufacturer presentations, and live demos.
