East Hartford, CT – The Manchester Community College Foundation is pleased to announce Kelser Corporation as the presenting sponsor of the twenty-second annual Evening of Fine Wines, to be held on April 25, 2014.

Kelser President & CEO Barry Kelly states, “We are extremely pleased and excited to be part of such a worthwhile event. Not only is it worthwhile, it’s a blast! The fact that the Evening of Fine Wines can provide so much for so many is icing on the cake.”

This annual gala event combines a wine tasting and live wine auction with a silent auction of non-wine items to raise funds for scholarships and programs at the college. Established in 1968, the MCC Foundation secures funding for student scholarships, programs and equipment to aid the college in achieving its mission. Events such as the Evening of Fine Wines, which celebrated a record-breaking year in 2013, net more than $100,000 annually for student scholarships and college programs. The MCC Foundation gives hundreds of deserving students the opportunity to achieve their academic dreams through the scholarship program, awarding approximately $200,000 to 200 students each year. In addition, the Foundation supports college programs like culinary arts with over $50,000 in funding. With this funding, MCC is able to maintain and build its competitive edge as a flagship institution.
