East Hartford - The Kelser Foundation set a new record for funds raised and total golfers in attendance at their annual golf Charity Challenge held in September at the Indian Hill Country Club. The 2014 Charity Challenge raised $24,100 for the American Lung Association of the Northeast which is the highest total in the 18 year history of the event. The Charity Challenge also set a record for player turnout with an oversold field of 152 golfers.

The organization was founded in 1985 by Gary Craig, morning radio personality of 96.5 WTIC-FM in Hartford, Connecticut. Gary Craig, along with a tremendous support committee, is committed to raising funds for abandoned, battered, disadvantaged, and needy children. We Are The Children is a 100% volunteer organization with all goods and services donated by members of the local communities.
