East Hartford - The Kelser Foundation set a new record for funds raised and total golfers in attendance at their annual golf Charity Challenge held in September at the Indian Hill Country Club. The 2014 Charity Challenge raised $24,100 for the American Lung Association of the Northeast which is the highest total in the 18 year history of the event. The Charity Challenge also set a record for player turnout with an oversold field of 152 golfers.

Hartford, CT - On December 22, 2014 Kelser delivered 77 brand new toys to We Are The Children. The organization was founded in 1985 by Gary Craig, morning radio personality of 96.5 WTIC-FM in Hartford, Connecticut. Gary Craig, along with a tremendous support committee, is committed to raising funds for abandoned, battered, disadvantaged, and needy children. We Are The Children is a 100% volunteer organization with all goods and services donated by members of the local communities.

18 members of the “Kelser Krew” team participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Bushnell Park in Hartford. Over 1,300 walkers participated in the event, raising over $180,000 for the cause. The walk supports the Alzheimer’s association, who is committed to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease through research, care, support and awareness.

Hartford, CT: The current phenomenon sweeping the country is the Ice Bucket Challenge, a social-media driven grassroots charity campaign with tremendous results and effect. The campaign has raised over $40 million dollars for the ALS Association and heightened awareness on a grand scale for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease".

Employees and family members of Kelser Corporation climbed 731 stairs to the top of Cityplace I, Connecticut’s tallest building, to raise funds and spread awareness for the American Lung Association in their annual Fight for Air Climb. The information technology solutions provider, through their philanthropic Foundation, is an annual participant in the climb and a longtime supporter of the ALA. 15 members of the “Kelser Krew” made the climb, raising over $3,600 for the cause.

Over $280,000 was raised as a result of tireless efforts, promotion, preparation and man-hours that culminated in the 22nd Annual Evening of Fine Wines at Manchester Community College. The formal event supports the MCC Foundation, enabling students to pursue their educational goals by supporting scholarships, programs (including Culinary Arts) and student life. Barry Kelly, Kelser President & CEO, was the honorary chairman of the event.
