East Hartford, CT – Kelser Corporation today announced the creation of a new organization dedicated to the human spirit of giving. The Kelser Foundation will formally expand the company’s active role in supporting charities locally, nationwide and across the globe.

On November 29th, the region’s CIO’s and IT Decision makers met together to discuss the upcoming challenges and solutions the tech community faces in 2012 and beyond. Organized and hosted by the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC), the event took place in the Mohegan Sun Ballroom, which was filled with approximately 120 attendees.

Giving back has always been at the core of Kelser’s culture, contributing in various ways to the local community. As much as the unpredictable New England weather will allow, golf events become an integral part of our philanthropic endeavors. The last few months have been our busiest season to date. Whether as player, sponsor, or volunteer, Kelser has participated in 8 recent golf events, all for well deserving organizations, highlighted by our own 15th Annual Kelser Charity Challenge.

Living in New England has its own unique benefits and challenges. Temperate summers, colorful autumns, white winters and rejuvenating springs are balanced with the occasional weather hate mail from Mother Nature. Often these reminders of her prowess come in the form of significant late summer events ranging from heavy thunderstorms to powerful tropical storms. This year is right on course with a varied mix of weather patterns that define our climate.

West Hartford, CT - On October 5, 2011 Kelser hosted the “Security & Compliance and the Future of Mobile Computing” forum at the Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, CT. The morning event focused on recognizing and addressing security risks in IT, and in particular, mobile devices.

Arriving to clouds and a steady drizzle, participants in the Kelser Corporation 15th Annual Charity Challenge stood under tents and dropped off golf bags to covered carts. Volunteers had been busily preparing the grounds at the Indian Hill Country Club all morning to meet the wet conditions and 116 golfers who participated in the event. At first, the weather seemed like it might put a dampening on the charity event.

Kelser Corporation is now an associate member of New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH), a non-profit association based out of Burlington, Massachusetts that helps members originate and receive ACH transactions. NEACH provides products, services, education and marketing to increase the acceptance, use and quality of electronic transactions.
