23 members of the “Kelser Krew” team participated in the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Hartford, CT to raise funds and awareness to combat Alzheimer’s disease. Part of the Kelser Foundation charitable initiative, employees and their relatives took part in this wildly successful event.

Employees, partners, customers, and friends of Kelser Corporation gathered at the Indian Hill Country Club to take part in a day of golf and charity. The Kelser Charity Challenge, celebrating its 16th year, raises much needed funds for the American Lung Association of New England. This year’s event was a tremendous success.

East Hartford, CT - On August 30, 2012, Hartford-area Information Technology leaders gathered at Rentschler Field to learn about the benefits of Virtual-Desktop-Infrastructure (VDI). Kelser Corporation, an IT Solutions company based in East Hartford, hosted the event. Presenting alongside Kelser were HP and AMD. Attendees enjoyed 3 speakers, barbeque, beverages and discussion as well as a game ticket for the UConn vs. UMass home opener football game. In addition, each attendee had the opportunity to receive a complimentary VDI assessment offered by Kelser Corporation.

Hartford, CT - Kelser Corporation hosted an informative lunch event at The Society Room in Hartford, CT. “Gen8: The New Standard of Servers” brought IT executives from the Hartford area together to learn and discuss how new technology and methodologies can solve business problems. Along side Kelser, co-presenting at the event were partners Hewlett-Packard and AMD. The program consisted of educational presentations, a delicious buffet-style lunch, networking, and of course dessert.

Farmington, CT - On May 2nd, the Connecticut chapter of VMUG (VMware User Group) met at the Farmington Marriott to attend education sessions by VMware experts and partners as well as network with other IT professionals from across the area. Kelser Corporation was present as a sponsor and attendee to share ideas and methodologies with CT’s virtualization specialists.

Hartford, CT - Senior IT Executives from in the region gathered at the CT Convention Center for the sixth annual Hartford CIO Forum & Executive IT Summit, where “IT Solutions for Business Problems” was this year’s theme. Organized by leading IT professionals from the central CT region, the event’s goal is to showcase new technologies and to offer IT solutions for today’s toughest business challenges. Hosted by SIM, the forum is an exclusive invitation only event and is considered one of the premier IT happenings of the year.

Hartford CT - IT executives and technology experts from the Hartford region met at Max Downtown to learn about the “Future of Backup and Recovery”. Hosted by Kelser Corporation, the event discussed the challenges IT professionals face when backing up data, and the process of necessary restoration. Kelser’s Jon Stone and Hewlett-Packard’s Derek Kelly presented to an enthusiastic room that held no empty seats. Attendees enjoyed a three course lunch while gaining valuable insight into industry leading backup solutions.

West Hartford CT - On January 25, 2012, IT executives and industry leaders gathered at Fleming’s Steakhouse in West Hartford for an evening of technology and fine wine. Attendees enjoyed presentations from leading technology experts Kelser Corporation, VMware, and Hewlett-Packard. The theme centered on moving business critical applications to a virtualized environment using VMware within HP’s 3PAR infrastructure.
